Trio del Novecientos
The meeting of European popular culture with itself and with the different migrations on the banks of the River Plate in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries resulted in the birth of one of the most important artistic movements of Latin culture Century XX: The Tango. In honor of this miraculous time and looking to recreate the spirit of the first tango, the origins and root, mergers and pioneering sounds, born Trio Del Novecientos.
Three musicians from very eclectic training, recognized specialists in such diverse styles such as tango, flamenco, jazz, Brazilian music and the Baroque give life to this research project, recovery and interpretation of a dance repertoire fresh, bright and original which are the first works that can be called tangos and milongas, a genre that has grown today centenary of the labor of generations of great artists.
Its privileged instrumentation and strong concerns regarding the search for ancestral sounds also allow Trio del Novecientos incursions into foreign soundscapes, from the baroque, Celtic music, impressionism or different currents of the twentieth century, thus completing a code readable, comprehensive and unusual.
